Monroe County Museum Collections
The Monroe County Museum is a small local history museum located in Monroe, Michigan. Founded in 1938, the Museum houses one of the largest collections of southeastern Michigan artifacts in the world.
Monday-Saturday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday: 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
The Research Room is open to the public Tuesday –
Saturday, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m., or by appointment.
The Museum is free for residents of Monroe County. For non-residents, there is a suggested donation of $5 per adult and $2.50 per child.

MCMCollections is a collaboration between the Monroe County Museum and University of Michigan graduate student Amanda Healy. The purpose of the blog is to provide a platform for the digital collections of the Monroe County Museum. It is an ongoing project, which will seek to add more digital collections through the years.
